President, Digital Action, Inc.
I am very sad to report that Jim Midland, Vice President
of Technical Recruiting here at Digital Action, Inc., passed away
suddenly on Thursday, January 3, 2002. He had moved to the cape
Brewster, MA., in December of 2000, where he resided with his beloved
wife Linda, a son McKeon and daughter Julia.
Jim was very successful in recruiting and made an impressive
transition from service management to the highly competitive recruiting
industry. He joined Digital Action in August of 99 after an accomplished
career with Tech Services International, Barco Graphics, Scitex America,
Seicom and Raytheon Data Systems. Jim had a rare mix of talent spanning
from sales and marketing to service management, customer relationship
management and overall leadership skills. He developed strong relationships
and friendships over the years, having a lasting impact on those he
came in contact with.
Jim was highly respected and extremely well liked within
the graphic arts industry and was known for his knowledge, professionalism,
and style, which was always warm, gracious and gentleman like. He
had a particular talent for helping clients find the right candidates,
while carefully insulating each side from the bumps that can occur
during the hiring process.
On behalf of all of us at Digital Action and Jims
many friends, I would like to extend our sincere condolences to Jims
wife Linda and his entire family.
